Biography
Mike Anderson is an executive coach, entrepreneur, former CEO, board member and author with a 40-year career across media, technology and digital transformation. He joined The Scotsman’s graduate training programme without a degree before reaching the boards of News UK and Associated Newspapers. He helped launch Metro and later founded Chelsea Apps Factory, a digital transformation consultancy.
Having lived through the shifts from print to digital, desktop to mobile, and digital to AI, Mike coaches founders, CEOs and senior leaders, including work at Amazon. His work helps leaders who feel lonely, frustrated or over-processed navigate innovation and disruption through judgement, courage, originality, connection and enjoyment.
Mike is the author of Serious Fun in Business: A Human Algorithm. His central idea is that leadership in an AI-shaped world depends on combining instinct and intelligence, seriousness and fun, courage and connection.
