Biography
Drew is a highly accomplished executive leader specialising in strengthening leadership quotient, the combination of mindset, behaviour, decision-making and emotional intelligence that determines how effectively leaders perform under pressure. His leadership development programmes are practical, challenging and bespoke, consistently driving measurable improvements in performance, engagement and accountability.
Beginning his career in frontline leadership, Drew quickly distinguished himself through his ability to engage people, manage behaviour and deliver results. He went on to lead a large, complex organisation through periods of significant challenge, gaining first-hand experience of what it truly takes to drive change, align teams around purpose and sustain high performance when the stakes are high.
Today, Drew works with executives and leadership teams to build leadership capacity at every level. His high-energy, interactive sessions explore how leaders create ownership, psychological safety and belief, while maintaining pace, discipline and results. Drawing on insights from business, elite sport and public service, he shares field-tested strategies and practical techniques that leaders can apply immediately within their own context.
An author of three books on leadership and organisational performance, Drew is known for translating complex leadership theory into clear, actionable thinking leaders can use in the real world. His work challenges leaders to think differently about power, influence and responsibility, and to step up as leaders who are both human and robust.
Drew is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management. In recognition of his contribution to leadership, children, young people and families, he has also been invited to Buckingham Palace.
