Biography

After spending a decade in engineering, Irada has led culture transformation efforts across the company and recently shifted her focus to work with Microsoft customers and partners. Additionally, Irada provides OD consultations and benchmarking with primary focus on furthering culture, executive leadership, and complex change.

Prior to this role, Irada led OD for Microsoft product organizations, was an integration director of Skype, and spent a few years in the Engineering Excellence focusing on engineering leadership, talent management, senior technical community, and organization design and effectiveness solutions across all Microsoft engineering groups.

Irada joined Microsoft in 2005, after spending a dozen of years in variety of functional leadership roles for the Cendant companies, managing Sales, Marketing, Quality, IT, and HR across over 40 countries. Variety of organizational roles and global nature of work has quenched her thirst for travel and global cultures, although she admits getting an occasional desire to wander around still J.  Originally, Irada is from Russia, back when it was still the Soviet Union, and her work experiences included doing research and teaching at the St. Petersburg State University, where she earned degrees in linguistics, psychology, education, philosophy, and political science.
