Biography
Most recently, as Senior Vice President of Player Health and Innovation at the NFL, Jennifer spearheaded groundbreaking advancements in athlete safety and performance. She developed the league’s first injury reduction strategy, assembled a world-class multi-disciplinary team, and created the “Digital Athlete,” utilizing AI and machine learning to transform injury prediction and prevention.
Jennifer’s ability to innovate in player health stems back to her role as the NFL’s Vice President of Finance for Business Ventures. In this position, she played a crucial role in securing essential revenue agreements and leading international expansion efforts for the league.
Prior to her role at the NFL, Jennifer was the Chief Financial Officer for North America at Atari, where she built and implemented a transformative strategic plan that restored profitability for a $150 million business. This comprehensive plan included company restructuring, a merger transaction, and the establishment of new licensing deals. She has also held various finance leadership positions across media, marketing, advisory, and law firms.
Jennifer holds an MBA from NYU Stern and an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, where she excelled as a Division One athlete on the Women’s Lacrosse team. Recently, she joined the board of UVA’s School of Data Science, highlighting her commitment to innovation and leadership. Additionally, she established the Jennifer Langton Bicentennial Scholars Fund at UVA to support a deserving young female lacrosse student athlete.
