Will’s experience launching new products, entering new markets and scaling high-growth businesses has given him unique insight into translating growth strategies into operational excellence, all centred around strong brand values, team culture and fan-centred planning.

His international roles in matrixed studio environments and managing joint-ventures have provided unique experience in creating alignment among disparate stakeholders, and developing growth-oriented, agile ways of working that keep pace with today’s fans and customers.

Will was most recently Managing Director of the streaming service BritBox UK, a joint venture between ITV and BBC, which he grew during his tenure to 800,000 subscribers, 80% net product satisfaction and 4.7 star app store ratings. He oversaw a slate of critically acclaimed original content and rolled the service out to over 20 platforms and distribution partners.

Previously, Will was Managing Director of Ingenious Media, a leading investor in the creative industries which has deployed over £7.5bn of global media investments in its 20 year history. He sat on the Ingenious group board and led teams across TV, Film, Games, Finance and Legal functions.

He joined Ingenious from Warner Bros, where he was Chief Commercial Officer for the Harry Potter Franchise, leading the development and commercial growth of the Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts and Wizarding World brands globally.

Prior to this he was Chief Operating Officer for HBO Europe, where his responsibilities included Content, Marketing, Affiliate Sales, and Network Operations.

He has also held roles at Disney, as VP of Equity Ventures & Business Development, and A+E Networks International as VP of Business Development & Branded Distribution.

Will has served on the boards of a number of companies including Super RTL, GMTV, FilmFlex and HBO Central Europe. He began his career in consulting with Spectrum Strategy Consultants and has a BA from Oxford University.
