19–24 September 2027 | Liverpool, Manchester & London

The Future of Business, UK

Six days exploring AI, culture, and leadership inside organisations shaping the future of business. Step outside your own organisation and discover what you could do differently.

The future of business is both high-tech and high-touch
AI is changing how organisations work. But access to technology is only part of the story. The culture you build and the way you lead matter just as much.
Wavelength’s The Future of Business, UK brings executive-level leaders together for six days of immersive visits, hands-on experiences, and facilitated discussion. Across Liverpool, Manchester, and London, you’ll explore how organisations approach technological change, service, and culture, then work through what those lessons could mean for your own business.

The programme is being developed around visits and interactive workshops with a selection of the organisations below. Visits are subject to confirmation; the final itinerary may change.

Turn fresh perspectives into practical questions
The week combines time inside organisations with workshops, peer discussion, and expert-led debriefs. You’ll have space to question what you’ve seen, compare approaches with leaders from other sectors, and consider what would work in your own organisation.
Three questions run through the programme:
Where can AI create value?
Explore how organisations use AI to improve efficiency and support growth.
What needs to change in your culture?
Examine the relationship between technological change, people, and high performance.
How will you need to lead?
Consider the mindsets and behaviours that help leaders navigate change.
Who you’ll learn with
The programme is designed for executive-level leaders with significant operational responsibility: people shaping strategy, culture, and growth across their organisations.
You’ll learn alongside senior leaders from different sectors, bringing perspectives that you’re unlikely to encounter in your own boardroom.
Make sense of what you see
The planned workshop and facilitation team includes:

Zoe Scaman
A strategist and futurist exploring emerging technologies, cultural change, and commercial opportunity.

Adrian Simpson
Wavelength’s co-founder, bringing insights from leadership, technology, and culture inside the organisations Wavelength visits.

Matt White
A moderator and leadership development specialist, guiding discussion and helping participants translate their experiences into practical thinking.
Contributors are subject to the final programme.
