Oke has a infectious passion for customer experience and is author of best-selling business book 'The Cult of Service Excellence’. Oke joined award-winning pets insurance company Many Pets UK in 2016 and launched their disruptive customer focused pet insurance products into the market in early 2017 and by mid 2021 they had over half a million customers across three countries and a valuation of more than $2bn, making them a double unicorn!

Biography

After leaving Bupa in 2009, where he was Director of Customer Service and Operations, Oke started his own consultancy business, Think Outside In, which helped organisations to improve the customer experience strategy and culture. During this time he became Director of Customer Experience for Sainsburys, looking after the service from 1,600 stores, the online business and the bank! Armed with this wealth of knowledge, he wrote and published his first book, ‘The Cult of Service Excellence’ focused on delivering exceptional customer experience.

Oke continued his journey from Intrapreneur to Entrepreneur when he joined the founding team of Many Pets (formerly Bought By Many) as Chief Operating Officer in 2016 and became UK CEO in 2022.

Oke also has a passion for improving Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the UK. His drive has led to ManyPets being voted one of the most inclusive places to work, amongst other awards in this space. In his spare time, Oke will be launching a start up social enterprise “Elevate Colour”, which will help people of colour, ‘arrive, survive and thrive’ in UK business. Oke is also an experienced Non Executive, having been on the board of Hyde and Bromford in the social housing sector and the Institute of Customer Service.
